The first week of July is always synonymous with Paris Fashion Week. This year was no exception, and it marked the first event of ELEMENTS Innovate.
After a preview at the Couture Show in Las Vegas, the team was ready to conquer the City of Light.
Among the wonders revealed during the week, we will present you two brands that have caught our attention and that have trusted us by opening the doors of their private exploits.
Arriving in Paris at noon, I took the rue Saint Honoré from the Madeleine church to the Costes hotel where my business meeting was being held. The city was full of visitors, making the days of the pandemic an old memory.
Customers from all over the world lined up in front of luxury boutiques such as Dior, Louis Vuitton, or Chanel on Rue Cambon. Elegant Asian couples were hailing cabs to go to the shows and a famous star had just pushed open the doors of the Mandarin Oriental hotel. What a pleasure to see all this energy and chic come back to town!
The 4th of July evening opened the Fashion Week festivities with a private dinner at Caviar Kaspia. ELEMENTS Innovate was honored to be among the guests of Mahmood Qannati for the launch of Qannati Works of Art.
Mr. Qannati speaks softly, is cultured, a family man - his lovely wife by his side.
Qannati's journey began when he contacted jewelry influencer Katerina Perez on social networks, on Instagram more exactly, by revealing his intention to create a brand with a very original concept.
Katerina, inspired by this concept, guided it to the next step and the designer Frederic Mané, the sculptor Jothi Seroj, the gemologist Anouck Veyret, under the leadership of the President Mr. Corentin Quideau, gave life, after 4 years of hard and constant work, to some of the most extraordinary pieces of art to be worn.
Qannati is the first luxury brand rooted in both France and Bahrain that finds its inspiration in the ancient Mesopotamian cultures dating back over 4,500 years.
The Caviar Kaspia dinner was a success. I had the privilege to be chaperoned by Mr. Stanislas de Quercize whom I thank for his kind presence.

Le hasard fait bien les choses, as the French say.
A lucky contact on Linkedin put me on the same path as Velum Vendôme High Jewellery. I honestly felt like a connoisseur who hasn't had the thrill of a new and fresh sparkle in a while; a gem discovery in the heart of Paris!
I had the chance to participate in the shooting of an exceptional jewel, a tiara handmade in the workshops of the Place Vendôme, in co-creation with Robert Wan, a specialist in Tahitian pearls.
A true Art-Deco beauty, contemporary but full of the magic of the era: it was like a trip back in time to the great Gatsby.
But the treasure was Souraya herself, the creator of the brand. She expresses the delicacy of her work, simple but very documented, with a sense of welcome as precious as one of her jewels. The shoot was held at the Alfred Sommier Hotel, a very chic place with a refreshing garden totally adapted to the meeting.
In the words of Velum VendômeFrench high jewelry has its origins in royalty, and has been passed down from generation to generation as the ultimate heritage.
A materialized part of history that will never disappear.
Having worked for eight years for the House of Cartier, "the jeweler of kings, the king of jewelers", I can only understand Souraya's approach who wished to continue this tradition through modern dynasties, that is to say oriental royalty.
A mix of Haute Couture and high jewelry, a Parisian heritage brought to light by a talented woman: the clients of the Velum Vendôme will be spoiled by the refinement of a unique piece with a history and the know-how of prestigious craftsmen. A chapter to follow, with more custom creations to come!
Shootings, events, press articlesAnd of course, valuable encounters with brands and the quality people behind them - this is what enriches our team's experience.
Social media has proven once again to be a powerful tool for business and networking. Instagram or Linkedin, these platforms are a great help in different circumstances as we have been able to highlight in the blog.
